Job summary

Corpshore Australia is seeking an experienced software engineer to join an embedded squad delivering outsourcing for a client, based in Melbourne with hybrid remote options.

You will work inside the client's codebase, build production features across a modern full-stack app, design REST/GraphQL endpoints, and contribute to CI/CD. You’ll participate in sprint ceremonies, write tests, perform code reviews, and collaborate with product owners and engineering leads across engagements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional full-stack development experience.
• Proficiency with modern JS/TS frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
• Backend language: Node.js, Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience designing REST or GraphQL APIs and databases.
• Comfortable with Git and PR workflows.
• Experience in an Agile team with sprint planning and estimation.
• English proficiency to work with client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production features in client codebases.
• Write frontend and backend code, APIs, and database changes.
• Participate in client sprint ceremonies and standups.
• Write automated tests and perform code reviews.
• Collaborate with product owners and engineering leads.
• Contribute to CI/CD and deployment processes.
• Adapt to different stacks as engagements change.
