Job summary

You will coordinate patient flow, support timely admissions, transfers and discharges, and work with the ED team to keep patients moving safely in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and annual practising certificate.
• Experience in Emergency Department or fast-paced clinical settings preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to identify risks and contribute to safe patient flow improvements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow through the ED, supporting admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Collaborate with the ED team, Nurse Manager, and external partners to maintain smooth operations.
• Apply critical thinking to navigate challenges and make timely decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide leadership to optimise resources and support safe, efficient patient flow.
