• ED flow and patient movement understanding.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow through the ED, supporting admissions, transfers, discharges and transitions.
• Work with the ED Shift Coordinator, medical and allied health teams, and partners to keep everyone connected.
• Lead with advanced nursing knowledge, critical thinking and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
• Maximise resources such as the Transit Lounge to support safe and efficient patient flow.
