Job summary

Guardian Childcare & Education Elsternwick is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to inspire children within a fun, passionate team. You’ll deliver Guardian’s learning programs and help educators bring their best to early childhood education.

You will collaborate with Teachers across the Guardian network and share children's milestones with families. Guardian values diversity, equality, and safety in the workplace.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework
• Experience in early childhood education environment
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) for VIC
• Current Teacher’s Accreditation/ Registration (NSW, SA, VIC & WA)
• Completion of mandatory Child Protection training via GECCKO

Responsibilities

• Implement and bring to life Guardian learning programs in the classroom
• Collaborate with Educators across the Guardian network
• Support children’s milestones and learning in a safe, inclusive environment
• Contribute to a positive team culture with a focus on reward and recognition

Here’s what you’ll bring:

• Completion of the national mandatory Child Protection training via the GECCKO platform
• Tertiary Qualifications (University Degree or equivalent) in Early Childhood Education as approved by ACECQA
• Current Teacher’s Accreditation/ Registration (NSW, SA, VIC & WA)
• Proven knowledge of the National Quality Framework
• Previous experience working in the early childhood sector (desirable)
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC for VIC)
