Job summary

Pymble Ladies’ College in Sydney seeks an experienced Geography, Business Studies and Economics teacher to join the GB E Department. This permanent, full-time role starts Term 1 2027 and involves teaching Economics, Commerce and Business Studies with innovative classroom practice.

The successful candidate will teach across Years 7–12 (Stages 4–6), bring experience in Stage 6 Economics if possible, and contribute to a collaborative department while supporting student wellbeing and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Hold current NESA accreditation and have an excellent understanding of the NESA syllabus.
• Experience teaching Economics, Commerce and Business Studies across Years 7–12 (Stages 4–6).
• Willingness to deliver courses across Years 7 to 12 (Stages 4, 5 and 6).
• Commit to improving educational outcomes and differentiating the curriculum.

The role

Pymble Ladies’ College is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Teacher to join our Geography, Business Studies and Economics (GBE) Department. This is a permanent, full-time position commencing at the start of Term 1 2027. With continued growth in our Economics cohort, experience teaching Stage 6 Economics will be highly regarded.

The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching Economics, Commerce and Business Studies, will bring innovative and engaging practice to the classroom, and will be committed to inspiring students to become confident, creative problem-solvers.
