Job summary

Pymble Ladies’ College seeks an experienced Teacher to join the Geography, Business Studies and Economics (GBE) Department. This permanent, full‑time role commences at the start of Term 1 2027 and includes teaching Economics, Commerce and Business Studies, with Stage 6 experience preferred.

The successful candidate will differentiate the curriculum for Years 7–12, contribute to a collaborative department, and use technology to enhance learning while supporting student wellbeing and professional

The role

Pymble Ladies’ College is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Teacher to join our Geography, Business Studies and Economics (GBE) Department. This is a permanent, full-time position commencing at the start of Term 1 2027. With continued growth in our Economics cohort, experience teaching Stage 6 Economics will be highly regarded.

The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching Economics, Commerce and Business Studies, will bring innovative and engaging practice to the classroom, and will be committed to inspiring students to become confident, creative problem-solvers.

You Will Display The Following Skills And Attributes

• Hold current NESA accreditation and have an excellent understanding of the NESA syllabus.
• The ability to teach Economics, Commerce and Business Studies.
• Experience teaching Stage 6 Economics is preferred.
• The willingness and confidence to deliver courses across Years 7 to 12 (Stages 4, 5 and 6).
• Contribute positively and collaboratively to a successful department.
• Commit to improving educational outcomes.
• Confidence in differentiating the curriculum in the classroom.
• Have a strong understanding of the application of technology to enhance learning.
