Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Australia seeks engineers to deliver sustainable, innovative digital solutions for clients across industries. You’ll work on eCommerce and retail platforms, shaping architectures and collaborating across teams to drive value locally and globally.

Join us to design backend services with Node.js or Java, build RESTful APIs, and lead AWS-based cloud initiatives including CI/CD and serverless patterns.

Key Responsibilities-

• Own and contribute to end-to-end eCommerce and retail solutions, with deep understanding of the order lifecycle, inventory management, and fulfillment processes.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js or Java-based frameworks.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and manage integrations with internal and external systems.
• Lead and support AWS-based cloud solutions, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and environment management.
• Develop and manage serverless solutions using AWS Lambda and related cloud-native services.
• Provide solution design, technical guidance, and leadership across development teams.

Key Skills-

• Strong experience in eCommerce and Retail domains.
• Proven expertise in order management, inventory, and fulfillment systems.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js or Java backend development.
• Frontend exposure to React or Angular and modern UI technologies.
• Solid understanding of API development and system integrations.
• Experience with AWS, DevOps practices, and tools such as Jenkins, Git, and CloudFormation.
• Practical exposure to AWS Lambda and serverless architectures.
