Job summary

Builders Centre, part of Australasian Progressive Group (APG), is seeking a commercially minded eCommerce Manager to lead the online channel and build a scalable, multi-million-dollar business.

You will own the end-to-end online customer experience, drive Shopify, manage product data at scale toward 100,000 SKUs, collaborate with IT and operations, and partner with stores and logistics to optimise delivery and pricing.

Qualifications

• Experience owning an eCommerce channel with commercial accountability.
• Experience with heavy or bulky products and complex logistics.
• Strong product-data and analytical capability with large catalogues.
• Working knowledge of Shopify and ERP-integrated commerce.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Shopify launch and ongoing online trading, conversion and customer experience.
• Own the product catalogue and data strategy, helping scale from ~30,000 to ~100,000 products.
• Collaborate with IT and vendors to ensure data and integrations between Shopify, Business Central and other systems.
• Partner with stores, transport and supply chain to make bulky-goods delivery, freight pricing, click and collect, drop-shipping and lead-time promises commercially viable.
• Own online customer service, performance reporting and the channel’s revenue, margin and cost-to-serve.
• Brief and manage external website, SEO, Google and marketing partners for clear commercial outcomes.
• Explore B2B trade functionality, AI-enabled experiences and new ways to meet builders where they shop and communicate.
