Job summary

Dahlsens Building Centres Pty is seeking a skilled Truck Driver for our Echuca branch. You will deliver timber and building products to trade customers, using a vehicle loading crane and ensuring items arrive on site on time and in full.

A strong safety mindset and a clean driving record are essential. Responsibilities include safe loading/unloading, stock control, and proactive communication with customers.

Qualifications

• Mandatory crane, forklift and White Card qualifications.
• Minimum three years’ driving experience delivering or handling similar products (preferred).
• Clean driving record with no infringements.
• Strong stock control, loading/unloading experience and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and load/unload timber and building products to trade customers.
• Operate loading crane on site and ensure on-time, in-full deliveries.
• Secure loads with bearers, straps and ties and perform pre-delivery site checks.
• Maintain vehicle and plant cleanliness, and complete inspection reports.
• Communicate changes or delays proactively to customers and team.
• Support yard activities and abide by safety policies including WHS practices.
