Job summary

Railtrain Pty Ltd on Australia’s East Coast seeks a Training Operations Manager to lead and grow our East Coast RTO operations, based in Newcastle or Brisbane. You’ll oversee trainers and coordinators, ensure quality and compliance, and drive commercial success while building strong client relationships.

Reporting to the RTO General Manager, you’ll manage day-to-day operations, budgets and performance, and identify opportunities to grow the training business in a dynamic rail environment.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in an RTO, training or vocational education environment.
• Strong understanding of RTO compliance and quality requirements.
• Experience managing client relationships and delivering training solutions to industry customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support trainers to deliver high-quality training outcomes.
• Manage training operations, budgets and performance across the East Coast.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with RTO standards, funding contracts and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee enterprise projects, third-party partnerships and training contracts.
