Job summary

John Holland seeks a Project Engineer to oversee earthworks for the Inland Rail Illabo to Stockinbingal section in NSW. You will collaborate across planning, design and execution, providing technical leadership on earthworks including soil mechanics, excavation, grading and compaction.

Lead a team of engineers and specialists to deliver on schedule while maintaining safety and quality. Responsibilities include coordinating with multi-disciplinary stakeholders, managing budgets, procurement

Qualifications

• Degree qualified Civil Engineer, Construction Management or similar.
• Previous experience within a Tier One contractor.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on planning, design and analysis of earthworks components to specifications and deadlines.
• Provide technical guidance on soil mechanics, excavation, grading and compaction.
• Lead and manage a team of engineers and technical specialists at site.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders across disciplines, management, contractors and clients.
• Ensure earthworks meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies for earthworks.
