Job summary

Young Academics Early Learning Centre in Tallawong, NSW, is seeking an Assistant Centre Manager to support the Centre Manager with day-to-day leadership, operations and performance, while continuing to deliver high-quality education and care for children.

This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, with early starts and a focus on mentoring staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, safeguarding children, and building strong relationships with families and the local community.

Qualifications

• ACECQA-approved qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Demonstrated leadership capability to mentor and support educators.
• Strong knowledge of NQS, ECC Regulations and child protection requirements.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check and First Aid/CPR certificates.

Responsibilities

• Support the Centre Manager with day-to-day leadership, operations and performance.
• Mentor and develop educators through coaching and feedback.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality education programs.
• Promote child-safe culture and partnerships with families and community.
• Assist with staffing, occupancy, planning and administrative tasks.
• Act as Responsible Person and support Centre Manager when delegated.
