Job summary

Early Learning Victoria is opening a new 130-place centre co-located with Newborough Primary School, delivering long day care and three- and four-year-old programs. You will lead high-quality, play-based education aligned with national standards and work closely with families and staff to build capability.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive knowledge of the NQF, and commitment to child safety. A relocation incentive and supportive team culture are highlighted in the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) or equivalent qualification and current VIT registration.
• Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality, play-based early childhood programs.
• Extensive understanding of the National Quality Framework and Victorian standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality early childhood education guided by contemporary pedagogy.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with families, children and colleagues.
• Lead and mentor educational teams to strengthen pedagogy and outcomes.
• Promote an inclusive environment meeting regulatory standards.
