Job summary

Early Learning Victoria, part of the Department of Education, is opening a new 130-place centre at Newborough. We seek an experienced early childhood educator to deliver high-quality, play-based programs for 3- and 4-year-olds, within a nationally aligned framework.

Qualifications

• Experience as an early childhood educator delivering a high-quality play-based program.
• Strong understanding of early learning frameworks and regulations.
• Ability to communicate clearly with staff, children and families.

Responsibilities

• Support the team to deliver high-quality early childhood education guided by evidence-informed, contemporary pedagogy and practice
• Contribute to and assist in the planning and implementation of the educational program, aligned with the National Quality Standards and related frameworks
• Monitor children's progress and support their social, emotional and cognitive development
• Build respectful, collaborative relationships with families, children and colleagues, ensuring all children feel safe and valued
