Early Learning Victoria (ELV), part of the Department of Education, is launching a 130-place centre at Newborough with long day care and preschool programs. The role is to support high-quality education, guided by contemporary pedagogy and standards, with a focus on inclusion and family engagement.

The position offers relocation support of up to $8,000 (eligibility applies) and is based near Melbourne, Warragul, and community settings.

Qualifications

• Diploma-qualified early childhood educator delivering a high-quality play-based program.
• Strong knowledge of the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework and related laws.
• Effective communication and relationship-building with staff, children, families and communities.
• Experience with children and families experiencing vulnerability is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Support the team to deliver high-quality early childhood education guided by evidence-informed pedagogy.
• Coordinate an environment where children can flourish and thrive, aligned with the National Quality Standards and Early Years Frameworks.
• Develop, deliver and coordinate integrated teaching and learning strategies guided by individual learning needs.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with families, children and colleagues, ensuring an inclusive environment.
