Stellar Nest Education & Care in Riverstone, NSW is seeking an inspiring Early Childhood Teacher and Preschool Room Leader to join our founding team. With a small, 34-place centre, you’ll shape the culture, lead a nurturing preschool room and collaborate closely with families to support each child’s curiosity.

You’ll bring ACECQA-approved qualifications, NSW teacher accreditation, and a passion for play-based, EYLF-aligned learning.

Qualifications

• ACECQA-approved qualification and NSW teacher accreditation are required.
• Knowledge of EYLF and NQF preferred.
• Experience leading a preschool room or mentoring educators.
• Commitment to child-safe practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a preschool room as part of the founding team.
• Deliver meaningful, play-based learning aligned with EYLF.
• Build strong relationships with children and families.
• Plan, document and reflect on daily learning experiences.

A little about you...

You're an Early Childhood Teacher with an ACECQA-approved qualification and current NSW teacher accreditation, as required.

You know your EYLF, understand quality early childhood practice and enjoy bringing out the best in your fellow educators.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• An ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification.
• Current NSW teacher accreditation, as applicable.
• Experience leading a preschool room or mentoring educators.
• A strong understanding of the EYLF, National Quality Framework and child-safe practices.
• Confidence in planning and delivering meaningful, play-based learning experiences.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to building relationships with children, families and colleagues.
