Rise Early Learning Charmhaven is hiring an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) for our 1.5-2.5 years space on NSW Central Coast. You will deliver high-quality education, support meaningful learning outcomes, and foster an environment benefiting children and the team.

Ideal candidates bring NSW ECT qualifications and a commitment to contemporary pedagogy, with readiness to work full-time Mon-Fri, 6:30am-6:30pm, across service hours, and grow with the service.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Rise Early Learning Charmhaven as an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) in our 1.5-2.5 years space. In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality education, supporting meaningful learning outcomes, and fostering an environment that benefits children as well as your team. You’ll be part of a welcoming culture that values your expertise, recognises your contributions and encourages your ongoing professional growth.

The Ideal Candidate Will Meet the Following Selection Criteria:

• Inclusive of others, with a positive and collaborative attitude
• Motivated to build respectful and meaningful connections with colleagues, families, children, and the wider community while maintaining professional boundaries
• Dedicated, enthusiastic, and reliable, with a commitment to excellence for children and willingness to grow with the service
• Ready to implement contemporary, evidence-informed pedagogy
• Open to our unique and innovative approach to programming and practice
• Shows an interest in understanding and exploring the RIE approach.
• Valid NSW Working with Children Check*
• Demonstrated understanding of contemporary child safe practices, including child safeguarding responsibilities
• Available for full-time work across service operational days and hours (Mon-Fri, 6:30am - 6:30pm), with flexibility as required
• Strong recent experience as an Early Childhood Teacher (preferred) and/or in a leadership role with a similar age group and the ability and confidence to influence the team
• Recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree
• Current Food Handler Basics training, with a certificate to be provided*
• Current Child Protection training, including a recognised course code for 'Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk', with evidence to be provided*
• Current Child Safety training (Geccko), with a certificate to be provided*
• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates are required to fulfil the Responsible Person role (at own cost) .
• *To be completed prior to your first working shift.

We have used our combined personal and professional experience in the sector to design a service which offers spaces for children, families and Educators to develop trusting relationships, and foster a sense of community.
