Job summary

Nido Cumberland Park is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher who will set learning goals with children, families and colleagues, modeling Reggio Emilia-inspired practices to support children's identity, wellbeing, and global connection.

We welcome applicants who can design diverse, engaging learning environments that spark curiosity and wonder, and who hold a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education with current checks and registrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA equivalent).
• Current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate.
• Alignment to the educational philosophy of Reggio Emilia.
• Valid Teacher Registration.
• Evidence of completion of the mandatory National Child Safety Training via Geccko (Foundation Training 1&2 and Advanced Training 3&4) or willingness to obtain before employment.

Responsibilities

• Role model educational practices for other educators, aligned with the Reggio Emilia approach.
• Support educators to enable children to develop a strong sense of identity, sense of wellbeing, confidence and their connection to the world.

The role: Early Childhood Teacher
