Job summary

Nido Early School in Maylands, Perth is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to help shape learning with children and families. You will set learning goals with colleagues and role-model best practices in a Reggio Emilia-inspired environment.

Designing diverse, engaging learning spaces, you will foster children's identity, wellbeing, confidence and global connections. Requirements include a Bachelor in ECE, WWC, First Aid, teacher registration, and Geccko safety training or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Early Childhood Education or ACECQA equivalent.
• Current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate.
• Alignment to the Reggio Emilia educational philosophy.
• Valid Teacher Registration.
• Evidence of completion of National Child Safety Training (Geccko) or willingness to obtain.

The role: Early Childhood Teacher

As the Early Childhood Teacher you will:

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you are a passionate educator with a love of learning and hold:

• Hold a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA equivalent)
• Have a current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate
• Alignment to the educational philosophy of Reggio Emilia
• Valid Teacher Registration
• Please note: Any candidate employed from 1 October must provide evidence of completion of the mandatory National Child Safety Training via Geccko, including Foundation Training (courses 1&2) and Advanced Training (courses 3&4), or be willing to obtain these certifications prior to employment.
