Job summary

Nido Early School in Western Australia is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher for a permanent, part-time role. You will set learning goals with children, families and colleagues, act as a role model for educators, and design engaging environments that spark curiosity.

The role requires a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA equivalent), a current Working with Children Check, and a First Aid Certificate.

The role: Early Childhood Teacher

As the Early Childhood Teacher you will:

• Set learning goals with children, families and colleagues that provide achievable challenges for every child
• Role model educational practices for other educators, aligned with the Reggio Emilia approach
• Support educators to enable children to develop a strong sense of identity, sense of wellbeing, confidence and their connection to the world
• Design educational, diverse and engaging learning environments that spark curiosity and wonder

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you are a passionate educator with a love of learning and hold:

• Hold a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA equivalent)
• Have a current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate
• Alignment to the educational philosophy of Reggio Emilia
• Valid Teacher Registration
• Please note: Any candidate employed from 1 April must provide a certificate confirming completion of the Federally mandated ‘National Child Safety Training’ via Geccko, or must be willing to obtain prior to employment
