Job summary

Little Genius Childcare and Kindergarten in Wheelers Hill, VIC, seeks a motivated Early Childhood Teacher to lead the kindergarten program at our second location. You will bring at least three years' teaching experience, ACECQA-approved Bachelor in Early Childhood Education, full VIT registration, and current First Aid/CPR.

A strong knowledge of EYLF/VEYLDF and the Reggio Emilia approach is essential, with a focus on child-led, inquiry-based learning and STEM/STEAM integration.

Qualifications

• At least three years' experience as an Early Childhood Teacher.
• Bachelor in Early Childhood Education or equivalent (ACECQA-approved).
• Full VIT registration (current).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates.
• A strong working knowledge of the EYLF and VEYLDF.
• A practical understanding of the Reggio Emilia approach.
• Confidence embedding STEM and STEAM within play-based, inquiry-led learning.
• Strong skills in observation, planning and meaningful pedagogical documentation.
• A commitment to respectful partnerships with families.
• Confidence in using modern technology and apps.
• A strong commitment to child safety, inclusion and every child's sense of belonging.
• Demonstrate great time management and organisational skills.
• Excellent presentation & communication skills.

Little Genius Childcare and Kindergarten – Wheelers Hill VIC

Little Genius Childcare & Kindergarten is seeking a highly motivated Early Childhood Teacher to lead the kindergarten program at our second Little Genius location. You will bring a minimum of three years' teaching experience, a sound understanding of the Reggio Emilia approach, and a strong commitment to child-led, process-based and inquiry-based learning. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in establishing and shaping the kindergarten program at our new service.

You will be responsible for the implementation of the curriculum in accordance with the NQS and VELYDF/EYLF.

About you

At least three years' experience as an Early Childhood Teacher

Bachelor in Early Childhood Education or equivalent (must be an ACECQA-approved early childhood teaching qualification)

Full VIT registration (current)

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
