Job summary

City Kids Early Learning Centre in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Educational Leader to guide pedagogy and mentor our team of educators. Reporting to the Director, the role focuses on embedding the Reggio Emilia approach, monitoring EYLF and VEYLDF, and supporting staff with a collaborative leadership style.

The successful candidate will work three days off the floor and two days in the kinder rooms to support the teams.

City Kids Early Learning Centre – Melbourne VIC

Our Centre is seeking an experienced and passionate Educational Leader to join our fantastic team of professional educators.

City Kids Early Learning Centre has been operating for over 16 years and has quickly established a reputation for quality education and care. Our 110 place centre features 6 children's rooms and two outdoor play areas. Facilities are modern and rooms are light filled and inviting.

This dynamic role will be reporting to the Director with a particular focus on embedding the Reggio Emilia approach. It also includes monitoring and facilitating the implementation of the Early Years Learning Framework and working closely with staff in a mentoring approach. The successful candidate will work three days off the floor and two days in the kinder rooms supporting the teams.

The successful applicant must:

Be forward-thinking with regard to curriculumand have sound knowledge and experience in implementing the EYLF and VEYLDF

Sound knowledge and understanding of Reggio Emilio philosophy, including evidence of implementing this approach

Experience in a leadership position

Initiative and assertiveness

Be dedicated to the needs of children

Value ongoing learning and reflection

Education requirements:

Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)

Current WWCC

Mandatory Reporting Training and Foundations in Child Safety Training
