Job summary

C&K Beaconsfield Community Kindergarten is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to lead a play-based kindergarten program at Beaconsfield, QLD. You will nurture a safe, engaging learning environment for children, families and the wider community, promoting belonging, growth and thriving through your passion and experience.

Permanent part-time role commencing 20 January 2027, 7.5 hours every Wednesday (8am–3:30pm). Wage range $43.41–$59.87 per hour plus superannuation.

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education required.
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications required.
• Police check and Blue Card as per state requirements.

We strongly uphold our child safety policies and procedures. To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have:

• An ACECQA approved Bachelor's Degree of Early Childhood Education or equivalent
• Completed National Child Safety Training – Foundation and Advanced Certificates (Courses 1 to 5)
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
• A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guide.
