Job summary

Harmony Lennox Head is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to lead play-based, inquiry-driven learning for children from birth to five years. You will plan, document and assess learning with a strong understanding of child development, while building meaningful relationships with families and the wider community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
• Completion of all required National Child Safety Training via Geccko, with current certificates of completion
• Strong knowledge of EYLF v2.0, QKLG and contemporary pedagogy
• Passion for intentional teaching, play-based learning & inquiry
• A reflective, collaborative and curious approach
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A commitment to child and cultural safety
• A warm, engaging presence that children are naturally drawn to

Responsibilities

• Champion children's voices, rights, cultures and identities in everyday learning experiences

• Collaborate closely with your Educational Leader and fellow educators to deliver high-quality outcomes
• Create engaging learning environments that inspire creativity, exploration and critical thinking
• Bring the EYLF v2.0 and QKLG to life through rich, meaningful and responsive learning experiences
• Support children's transitions, school readiness and continuity of learning
• Model professionalism, reflective practice and ethical decision-making in all aspects of your work
