Job summary

Derby Street Children’s Centre in Melbourne is seeking passionate Early Childhood Educators with a Certificate 3 or Diploma to join our not-for-profit community service. We offer part-time, full-time and casual opportunities, emphasising reflective practice, quality learning environments and strong relationships with children and families.

You will work with a supportive team to deliver EYLF-aligned programs, complete essential checks and trainings, and contribute to a safe, inclusive centre.

Qualifications

• Certificate 3 or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Strong knowledge of the EYLF and NQS.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to plan for and implement meaningful learning experiences.
• Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training.
• Current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
• Completed National and State Child Safety Training.
• Minimum of 1–2 years experience in Early Childhood Education.
