Job summary

Department of Education Victoria – Teesdale VIC is recruiting Diploma and Cert III level Early Childhood Educators to join Early Learning Victoria’s 102‑place centre. You will support high‑quality play‑based learning, aligned with the EYLF and National Quality Framework, and work with families to foster inclusive, supportive environments.

Opened in 2026, the centre delivers long day care and three- to four-year-old programs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as an early childhood educator delivering a high-quality play-based program.
• Strong understanding of Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework and National Law.
• Effective communication and relationship-building with staff, children and families.
• Experience supporting children and families experiencing vulnerability is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the team to deliver high-quality early childhood education guided by evidence-informed pedagogy.
• Coordinate an environment where children can flourish aligned with the EYLF and NQF.
• Develop and coordinate integrated teaching strategies tailored to each child.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with families and colleagues in an inclusive setting.
