Job summary

Glendale Early Education Centre – Glendale NSW is seeking a qualified Diploma or Certificate III Educator to join our community-based early childhood service. This leave-cover role for 2026 with potential extension or permanent appointment for the right candidate.

You will support children's learning using the EYLF V2.0 and planning cycle, participate in nature-based learning and Bush Kinder programs, and build strong relationships with children, families, colleagues and the wider community.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate III Educator qualification; experience highly regarded.
• Current NSW Working With Children Check.
• Clear National Police Check or willingness to obtain one.
• Foundations of Child Safety training completed.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Interest in EYLF V2.0 and the planning cycle.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning and development using EYLF V2.0 and planning cycle.
• Participate in nature-based learning and Bush Kinder programs.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, colleagues and community.
• Comply with all relevant legislation, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Commitment to child safety, child protection and quality improvement.
• Work flexibly within an 8-hour shift rostered between 7:00am and 6:00pm.
