• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and its daily impact.
• Experience with children and families.
• Experience assisting in development and implementation of an educational program.
• Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively with staff.
• Ability to identify health and safety risks in the workplace.

About the Opportunity

Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator (fixed term full-time linked to parental leave backfill)

Kathleen Millikan Centre is seeking a Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator who is motivated, enthusiastic and passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young children and their families.

As part of a small, close-knit farming community on the traditional lands of the Gunditjmara, Boandik and Jardwadjali peoples, we are committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive and supportive environment where children, families and educators can thrive. Located in the rural township of Casterton, Kathleen Millikan Centre provides both Long Day Care and Kindergarten programs in a welcoming, purpose-built facility.

As a valued member of our team, you will work alongside experienced and supportive educators to create engaging learning environments, contribute to educational programs, and help provide high-quality care and education for every child.
