Qualifications

• Diploma in Education and Care required.

• Knowledge of National Quality Framework and its daily application.
• Experience with children and families.
• Experience in developing and implementing educational programs.
• Understanding of children aged 0–5 years.

What you need to Succeed

• A Diploma in Education and Care.
• Current First Aid qualification HLTAID012.
• National Child Safety training.
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and an understanding of how this this reflects on daily practice.
• Demonstrated experience working with children and families.
• Experience in assisting in the development and implementation of an educational program.
• A genuine understanding of and a desire to work with children aged 0 through to kindergarten age.
• A positive outlook and team approach.
• Effective communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work flexibly and collaboratively with all staff.
• Ability to manage risks and identify health and safety issues pertaining to workplace.
