Job summary

State Government of Victoria, Australia is recruiting an Early Childhood Educator (Certificate III) for the Loddon Mallee - Gannawarra region. You will support planning and delivery of a play-based educational program, guided by the Victorian framework, and work closely with families to support children's development.

Applicants should have ACECQA approved Certificate III or be working towards it, with required checks (WCC, First Aid, CPR, asthma and allergy training) and a commitment to child

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECE) approved by ACECQA.
• Valid Working with Children Check, First Aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications; completion of Protecting Children training.
• Police check required; international check if resided abroad in last 10 years.
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (if applicable).
• Safe Sleep Training desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of high-quality play-based early childhood education.
• Assist in planning and implementing the educational program aligned with standards and regulations.
• Monitor children's progress and support social, emotional and cognitive development.
• Build respectful relationships with families, children and colleagues to ensure safety and inclusion.
