Job summary

Early Learning Victoria (ELV), part of the Department of Education, is expanding to 102 places and delivering long day care and three- and four-year-old kindergarten programs. The Nicholson site opens in 2027, co-located with Nicholson Primary School, and serves local communities.

Qualifications

• Diploma-level qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved).
• Strong communication and relationship-building with staff, families and communities.
• Experience delivering high-quality, play-based education for young children.
• Experience working with vulnerable children is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the team to deliver high‑quality early childhood education guided by contemporary pedagogy.
• Coordinate an environment where children can flourish under the National Quality Standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Develop and deliver integrated teaching and learning strategies tailored to each child.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with families and colleagues to ensure an inclusive environment.
