Job summary

Torquay Early Learning Centre in Torquay, VIC, is seeking energetic educators trained to Certificate III or Diploma level in early childhood to join a not-for-profit community centre of 130 places.

All roles include commitment to EYLF/VEYLDF, supportive team culture, ongoing PD and benefits such as holidays, public holiday time off, and counselling. Applicants from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Hold or be working towards a Certificate III or Diploma level early childhood qualification (ACECQA approved).
• Hold current First Aid qualifications, including Asthma, Anaphylaxis and CPR training.
• Hold a current Working with Children Check.
• Completed mandatory child safety training.
• Good understanding of VEYLDF and NQF.
• Demonstrated experience will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver innovative and high-quality educational programs for each individual child.
• Contribute to the team of passionate educators within your room whilst incorporating best practice at all times.
• Ensure learning and development is consistent with the EYLF/VEYLDF.
• Support a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement.
• Develop respectful relationships with families to support each child's learning.
• Act within the requirements of the Centre's Code of Conduct, Child Safety and Wellbeing Policy and Complaints Policy.

Education

Certificate III or Diploma level early childhood qualification (ACECQA approved)
