Bayside Council is hiring an Early Childhood Educator for Garrigarrang Early Education and Care (Kogarah). This permanent part-time role requires an Approved Certificate III in Education and Care and relevant experience with children aged 0–5, with emphasis on inclusive practices and child safety.
You will plan and deliver a program aligned with the National Learning Framework, maintain confidential records, and meet regulatory obligations while engaging with families and the Educational Leader.

From: $23,792 - $26,647 pa + retention allowance + super

Purpose of the role
To provide innovative and quality early education and care programs in line with the National Quality Framework that reflect the children and families in the service.
This role is responsible for ensuring a responsive service that is committed to inclusive practices that support families, cultural, socio-economic and individual situations.
Key Responsibilities
Within the area of responsibility, these roles are required to:
Approved Certificate III level education and care qualification and relevant experience working with children 0 – 5 years.
Current First Aid Certificate relevant to the role.
Working with Children Check (NSW).
Approved Child Protection training.
Working knowledge of Education and Care Services National Law and Regulation, Child Protection legislation and regulation and National Quality Framework.
Foundational Child Safe Certificate
Advanced Child Safety Certificate
