Job summary

Upper Hunter Early Learning Centre – Scone is seeking a Casual Early Childhood Educator to join our dedicated team. You’ll help create a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for children aged 0–6 years, delivering high-quality long day care and educational programs.

The role offers an hourly range equivalent to $1,181.30–$1,323.10 per 38‑hour week, plus 12% super, salary progression, generous leave and uniform allowance.

Qualifications

• Approved qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices for children aged 0–6 years.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and applying it to create engaging, inclusive learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality long day care and education programs for children aged 0–6 years.
• Create a safe, nurturing and engaging environment.
• Work collaboratively with the team to support learning and wellbeing.
• Contribute to the implementation of developmentally appropriate experiences.
