Job summary

Sibanye Stillwater Australia is seeking an E&I Technician to support Century Mine operations at Lawn Hill. The role is FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns on a 15/13 roster, based at Century Mine.

You will maintain and repair electrical and instrumentation equipment, perform planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding and calibration across site systems to keep production safe and reliable.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade certificate required.
• Instrumentation certificate required.
• Current manual driver’s licence required.
• High-voltage switching certificate desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical, instrumentation and controls maintenance, repairs and reconditioning safely and within agreed timeframes.
• Complete preventive maintenance in line with manufacturer recommendations and scheduled maintenance requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational and technical equipment issues to minimise processing interruptions.
• Install, calibrate, test, repair and adjust instrumentation, control systems and associated equipment.
• Inspect electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures and components for functionality, compliance and potential hazards.
• Use appropriate test equipment to verify system safety and component compatibility.
• Initiate, update and close work orders promptly, including relevant feedback and reports.
• Respond to emergency work orders and provide troubleshooting support as required.
