Job summary

Monadelphous seeks an experienced E&I Supervisor to join our Engineering and Construction division on a wind farm project in the Pilbara. The role is fixed-term, overseeing electrical assembly and installation of wind turbines for a 17-turbine pilot with potential scale.

Working FIFO on a 2:1 roster, you will lead, mentor and coach the workforce while ensuring safety, productivity and adherence to client requirements and Monadelphous procedures.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade qualification and WA Electrical Licence required.
• S26 Certification or ability to obtain during onboarding.

Job description

Monadelphous is seeking an experienced E&I Supervisor to join our Engineering and Construction division on a new Wind Farm construction project in the Pilbara, for a major mining client. It's a new technology platform, first of its kind to be built in Australia, starting with a 17 turbine pilot and potential for the project to scale significantly.

In this role, you will oversee the electrical assembly and installation wind turbines. This is a fixed term, opportunity on a 2:1 roster, FIFO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to the workforce personnel
• Actively monitor work practices and coach employees to ensure adherence to correct HSE policies and procedures
• Review performance and manage any performance issues as per Monadelphous procedures
• Communicate with client representatives to inform them on the progress of the project and resolve any issues
• Plan and organise work to meet the projects requirements and promote productivity
• Adhere to all site rules and inspire crew to work safely and efficiently
• Coordinate & Delegate work to your crew

What you’ll bring:

• Electrical trade qualification and WA Electrical Licence
• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
• S26 Certification (Or the ability to obtain it during onboarding)
• Ability to work comfortably at heights
• Proven leadership capabilities developing and leading a cohesive and high-performance team
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly in high-pressure situations
• Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver a message effectively
• Proof of right to work in Australia
