Job summary

Webuild in Australia is seeking an E&I QA/QC Inspector to join the Woodman Point Project Team in Henderson, WA. You will perform inspections aligned with Project Quality Control Plans and ITPs for electrical/instrumentation activities, ensuring materials and workmanship meet project standards.

You will verify records, contribute to weekly QA/QC reporting, provide guidance to stakeholders and conduct EEHA inspections. A relevant degree and 3+ years' experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering; 3+ years as a Quality Control Inspector in E&I.
• EEHA licence preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods and QC procedures.
• Familiarity with codes, standards and safety regulations.
• Proficiency with inspection tools, measuring instruments and relevant software.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (C class).
• Construction White Card.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections per Project Quality Control Plans and Inspection Test Plans for electrical/instrumentation activities.
• Verify material and equipment are received, stored, preserved, calibrated, handled, identified and traceable.
• Inspect E&I works and construction processes for compliance with specifications and standards.
• Input into weekly quality reports to the Project Quality Manager.
• Provide quality guidance to stakeholders.
• Perform Hazardous Area (EEHA) inspections.
• Verify subcontracted activities follow approved QC Plans/ITPs.
• Plan, witness inspections and collect QC records.
• Ensure documents certify tests/controls/inspections are retrievable in final dossier.

Clough, as part of the Integrate Alliance, is delivering the engineering, procurement and construction for the upgrade of the Woodman Point Water Treatment Facility in Henderson. This is a significant sustainable infrastructure project for the Perth and broader WA community, reducing waste and emissions.

We have an exciting opportunity for a E&I QA/QC Inspector to join the Woodman Point Project Team in Henderson.

In this role, you will be responsiblefor performing inspections in accordance with Project Quality Control Plans and Inspection Test Plans with reference to electrical/instrumentation activities.

Other tasks and responsibilities include:

• Verify that material and equipment are correctly received, stored, preserved, calibrated, handled,identifiedand traceable
• Inspect and verify the quality of E&I works and construction processes to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards
• Provide input into the weekly quality reports to the Project Quality Manager
• Provide quality-related guidance to all stakeholders
• Perform Hazardous Area (EEHA) Inspections
• In case of subcontracted activities, verify the correct implementation of approved Quality Control Plans / Inspection Test
• Conduct planning, witness inspections and collect relevant QC records
• Verify the collection and management of documents certifying test,controlsand inspections, checking that all records areproperly retrievable within the final As-Built dossier.

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, or a relevant field
• Demonstrated experience (3+ years) as a Quality Control Inspector in E&I
• Currently hold an EEHA licence (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality control procedures
• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations
• Proficiency in using inspection tools, measuring instruments, and relevant software
• Current Australian “C” Class Driver’s Licence
• Construction White Card.
