Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking experienced E&I Project Engineers to join our Engineering and Construction division to support the Brigalow Peaking Power Plant project near Chinchilla, Queensland. Initial base in Brisbane, with on-site work expected from 2027 onwards.

You will collaborate with Site and Project Managers to ensure objectives are met in safety, cost, and quality, liaising with clients and coordinating between engineering and delivery teams.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' on-site project engineering/coordination experience.
• Australia-recognised engineering qualification or trade certificate.
• Strong written and verbal communication with good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with Site Manager and Project Manager to meet project objectives (cost, safety, quality).
• Liaise with client representatives to deliver requirements.
• Coordinate interface between engineering and delivery teams to comply with specs, schedules and contract.
• Manage and resolve technical queries as required.
• Compile schedule, cost, progress and forecast reports.
