Job summary

LTM Australia is seeking a Senior MS Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant with deep expertise across Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management and Finance & Operations. You will translate business requirements into scalable Dynamics 365 solutions while guiding the project from discovery through delivery.

This role requires senior leadership, mentoring of internal teams, and collaboration with business stakeholders, solution architects and delivery teams to drive transformation and measurable outcomes.

Senior MS Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant – Supply Chain / Finance & Operations

LTM Australia is seeking a Senior MS Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant with deep expertise across Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management and Finance & Operations (FinOps).

This is a senior consulting role for a genuinely top-tier Dynamics SME who can operate at the intersection of technology and business. You will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects and internal delivery teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable Dynamics 365 solutions.

Importantly, this role is not simply about configuring Dynamics. We are looking for someone who can lead, guide and uplift the internal team, provide strong functional leadership and bring proven industry and transformation experience to the engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide senior functional leadership across Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Supply Chain Management.
• Understand business processes and translate business requirements into effective Dynamics 365 solutions.
• Lead workshops with business stakeholders, process owners and technical teams.
• Analyse existing processes and identify opportunities for optimisation, automation and standardisation.
• Define functional requirements, solution designs, process flows and acceptance criteria.
• Provide guidance on D365 configuration, integrations and extensions.
• Work closely with technical architects and developers to ensure solutions are aligned to business requirements and platform capabilities.
• Lead functional solution design across areas such as procurement, inventory, warehousing, logistics, manufacturing and/or finance.
• Challenge requirements where appropriate and recommend best-practice Dynamics solutions rather than simply replicating existing processes.
• Provide mentoring, coaching and knowledge transfer to internal Dynamics teams.
• Review deliverables and provide senior-level quality assurance across functional workstreams.
• Support testing, defect resolution, deployment and post-go-live activities.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior business and technology stakeholders.

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong functional expertise across Supply Chain Management, with exposure to relevant Finance & Operations capabilities.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end enterprise business processes.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, functional design and solution delivery.
• Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 configuration and its integration with broader enterprise technology environments.
• Excellent business acumen and ability to translate business problems into technology solutions.
• Demonstrated experience working as a senior SME, functional lead or solution consultant.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience mentoring, coaching and uplifting internal teams.
• Ability to operate confidently with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and consulting capability.
