Job summary

Leocata's Transport in Tatura, VIC, seeks an experienced Transport Allocator to manage its fleet and drivers in a fast-paced environment. You will schedule movements, coordinate drivers and subcontractors, monitor plans, and ensure compliance with NHVR and fatigue regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years of transport or logistics coordination experience is required.
• Experience with transportation management software (TMS) is preferred.
• Ability to problem solve and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Daily scheduling and allocation of transport movements.
• Coordinating drivers, subcontractors and fleet requirements.
• Monitor and adjust transportation plans in response to changing conditions (traffic, weather, etc.).
• Liaise with customers, drivers and stakeholders to provide updates and resolve delivery issues.
• Ensure driver compliance with NHVR, Fatigue, Mass regulations.
• Complete transport documentation, prestarts and operational records accurately.
• Discuss operational concerns with drivers and follow up on issues.
• Assist in investigating operational incidents and trends.
• Provide support and guidance to the transport team.
