Job summary

Fresh Start Advisory seeks a Social Media & Content Specialist to own content creation across our social channels. You will film, edit, write hooks and captions, and publish engaging posts tailored to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and more.

Collaborating with the Head of Marketing and leadership, you’ll help grow brand awareness and engagement, developing native content concepts and series while analysing performance to optimise reach.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years' experience in social media, content creation or a similar role.
• Proven experience creating short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram and/or YouTube.
• Confident writing scripts, captions, hooks and on-screen copy.
• A strong understanding of what makes social content engaging and shareable.
• Deep understanding of TikTok and Instagram trends and platform-native content.
• Ability to turn an idea or trend into a finished piece of content independently.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop and execute social media content ideas from concept through to publication.
• Regularly film original content using an iPhone and basic equipment.
• Film team members, leadership and subject matter experts for social content.
• Edit short-form video content with text overlays, transitions and captions.
• Plan and publish content across multiple platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Reddit).
• Engage with the community via comments and DMs.
