Job summary

Chery Northern Beaches is seeking a Service Advisor to act as the main liaison between customers and our Service Department across Chery, Sea-Doo and Can-Am brands. You will identify customer needs, document concerns, and coordinate repairs with technicians to ensure a transparent service journey.

Key duties include greeting customers, booking workshop entries for vehicles and watercraft, presenting estimates, obtaining approvals, and keeping customers informed of progress and costs.

• Experience in service advisory or similar customer-facing automotive role.
• Strong ability to communicate technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide a professional and welcoming service experience.
• Book vehicles and Sea-Doo watercraft into the workshop.
• Conduct customer consultations and document concerns and requirements.
• Prepare accurate repair orders and job cards.
• Liaise with technicians to understand diagnosis, repairs and additional work.
• Prepare and present repair estimates and quotations to customers.
• Obtain customer authorisation for additional repairs.
• Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the repair process.
• Provide customers with clear updates regarding job progress, costs and completion times.
• Coordinate watercraft pick-up and delivery.
