Lalor Secondary College in Melbourne seeks an experienced classroom teacher to deliver engaging programs for Years 7–12. The role focuses on planning, preparing and delivering high-quality teaching that supports student learning and achievement across a diverse student cohort.

Applicants will contribute to school wide priorities, collaborate with colleagues and families, and participate in professional learning to continually improve teaching practice in a well-supported Victorian government

Qualificações

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning and implementing high impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning growth.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning and using data to inform practice and communicate progress.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, families and staff.
• Demonstrated alignment with Department values and commitment to professional learning.

Responsabilidades

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students.
• Contribute to curriculum development and evaluation within the school.
• Undertake other duties as required by the principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings and staff meetings; camps and excursions.
• Support implementation of school policies and priorities.
