Gema Group in Australia is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to manage purchasing orders, inventory and stock control across venues, including Accor and CommBank Stadiums.

You will work with the Procurement & Inventory Manager to ensure accurate records, timely stock replenishment and cost-effective procurement, while upholding IMS standards.

Ideal candidates have hospitality experience, strong Excel skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure during events.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, inventory or warehouse coordination in hospitality or high-volume settings.
• Proficient with inventory systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Hands-on with receiving, stocktakes and stock reconciliation.

Responsabilités

• Preparing and processing purchase orders and receipts.
• Managing stock levels and inventory records.
• Coordinating with staff for stock reconciliation and reporting.
• Ensuring stock is stored securely and organized in the warehouse.
• Liaising with suppliers to obtain quotes and maintain relationships.
• Upholding IMS standards across quality, safety and environment policies.
