Leviat, a global leader in lifting, insulating, and connecting technology for the construction industry, seeks a hands-on Production Planner in NSW to drive scheduling and keep operations moving smoothly. You will plan, schedule, and coordinate manufacturing activities to balance demand, capacity, and material availability on the shop floor.

Reporting to the Production Manager NSW, you will monitor performance, adjust plans quickly, and collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and maintenance

Qualifications

• Proven experience in production planning or scheduling in fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of production processes, capacity planning and line balancing.
• Hands-on with ability to engage shop floor teams and build relationships.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling tools, plus strong Excel data analysis.

Responsabilités

• Develop and manage daily and weekly production schedules aligned with customer orders, forecasts, and site capacity.
• Coordinate with production supervisors and team leaders to ensure schedule execution on the shop floor.
• Monitor real-time production performance and adjust plans for breakdowns, labour constraints, or priority shifts.
• Ensure availability of raw materials, packaging, and components through procurement and warehouse liaising.
• Maintain and update production orders and tracking data in the ERP/MRP system.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, reduce waste and improve line balance and capacity utilization.
• Participate in daily production meetings with maintenance, supply chain, and logistics.
