Qualifikationen

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience planning and implementing high impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning growth.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning and using data to inform teaching.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues and the school community.
• Commitment to Department values and ongoing professional learning.

Aufgaben

• Plan, prepare and teach programs to achieve student outcomes.
• Engage in critical reflection and inquiry to improve teaching practices.
• Contribute to school policy development and priorities as Range 2 teacher; mentor other teachers.
• Supervise and train student teachers; provide expert advice on content and strategies to inform professional learning.
• Use student data to inform teaching approaches and achieve targets in student learning outcomes.
• Deliver classroom teaching and may undertake other duties as assigned.
