Job summary

Parkville College is seeking a Classroom Teacher for Physical Education at the Malmsbury campus. The role involves teaching PE within a culturally responsive framework and delivering high-quality educational programs across campuses, including external sites.

Applicants should hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and be or become registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching. The position may require Saturday or holiday work and offers a $9,000 incentive pro rata.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience using student data to inform teaching and to provide feedback.
• Ability to reflect on practice and engage in professional learning for improvement.
• Registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individuals within the classroom.
• Contribute to curriculum development and program evaluation.
• Attend parent/teacher meetings and school events.
• Undertake supervision duties and support student teachers.
