Job summary

All Saints’ Catholic College, Maitland is seeking a temporary full-time Secondary HSIE Teacher for the 2027 school year, beginning January 2027. The college serves Years 7–12 within the Maitland-Newcastle Diocese and is one of the largest Catholic schools in New South Wales.

Teachers will be expected to deliver the HSIE curriculum, differentiate learning, and collaborate with staff to provide high-quality teaching aligned with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.

Qualifications

• Must be a four-year trained teacher and NSW WWCC.
• Active NESA Accreditation and WWCC required.
• Anaphylaxis and CPR training completed or accessible.
• Ability to plan contemporary teaching programs and assessments for HSIE across Years 7–12.

Responsibilities

• Deliver HSIE curriculum to Years 7–12 in a Catholic school.
• Differentiate learning and develop assessments and quality teaching programs.
• Work within the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
• Collaborate with staff and the wider community to achieve educational outcomes.
