Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the curriculum and literacy/numeracy skills integration.
• Experience planning high impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning impact.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning using data and providing feedback to students and parents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, parents, colleagues and the school community.
• Commitment to reflecting on practice and engaging in ongoing professional learning to improve teaching quality.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual learners.
• Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum programs within the school.
• Undertake other classroom teaching and organisational duties as directed by the principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertake other non-teaching supervisory duties as required.
