The Sporting Globe is seeking a Duty Manager to lead service excellence in a lively hospitality venue in Melbourne. You’ll call plays, support the squad and ensure every customer experience is a win during both peak and off-peak shifts.

Open the venue, train staff, manage stock and compliance, and close out nights with accurate till counts and TAB procedures. A passion for epic customer experiences is essential.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience, ideally in pubs, bars or busy venues.
• RSA certification is required or in place.
• TAB basics or advanced knowledge is a bonus.

We’re scouting for a Duty Manager who calls the plays, supports the squad and makes sure every customer experience is a win.

This role is available as Full Time or Part Time.

Key Plays

• Support the shift by making sure every area of the field is running smoothly
• Train and motivate the team and help build a winning team culture
• Assist with stock, reporting, compliance, and operational tasks that keep the venue in top shape
• Open the venue and ensure it's well presented and setup for a successful shift
• Complete end of night till counts, TAB compliance and closing procedures

What You’ll Bring

• Hospitality experience (bonus points if it’s in pubs, bars, or busy restaurants)
• RSA
• Bonus Points for TAB Basics and/or Advanced (but not necessary)
• A passion for creating epic customer experiences and building a buzzing venue
